oh yes, i'll be getting this. been playing morrowind on and off for 4 years now so now way i wouldnt get Oblivion. And I'll be getting it on pc (for me) AND xbox (for my boyfriend). Need a pc upgrade first though... but luckily im getting that for Black and White 2 :P Definately be getting BnW 2 before oblivion since BnW is the best pc game ever! hehe. Elder Scrolls probably is third in my list though.

I'm intrigued. How were the others 'weak'? They're some of the most in-depth rpgs ever; not only do they have so much history and lore crammed into the games and teh story, but you can go off and be the head of any guild you like. I think the races need some work though.

I drooled over Arena, **** my pents over Daggerfall and played
Morrowind until my eyes fell out and splat on my keyboard......
Gives you an idea of what I think about Oblivion.
( I was also part of the Huge modding community for Morrowind )

Edit: Still waiting for the World of Tamriel Mod to be release

I loved Morrowind, it was so much fine.

Some complain that the main story was hard to find what to do next and I fully agree with them on that but that's one thing I liked. It didn't say 'go to point A then Point B to advance the main plot'. The main plot was just one of the other myriads of quests you had and you just followed along doing random quests and the main one at the same time.

I liked that. I liked the huge world too and since Oblivion is gonna be even bigger, hell yah. I'm getting it.
